About Us
Founded by Joseph Potter and Spencer Schmid, borrow-a-bike started as a volunteer run unique service to Loyola. The growing demands and success of the program shortly led to new ways of ensuring it remained sustainable. The idea was proposed to Loyola Limited to establish protection, foster the necessary growth, utilize resources and solidify the programs values. The emergent business was named Chainlinks in 2011.
“Our bike shop is proud to be a Loyola Limited business.”
Loyola Limited is Loyola University Chicago’s undergraduate student-run business enterprise. Strictly undergraduate, Loyola Limited looks to give students more than a typical experience. By empowering students to run and manage businesses, they obtain the hands on experience and knowledge that enables them to be prepared for their post-graduate careers.
